I have given my BJD, Chloe, a face up! It's not perfect, but I think she looks sweet. The biggest challenge was the eyelashes, but making the mouth look defined without looking like lipstick was a challenge too.

So many of my dolls are posed holding a Teddy Bear. (No surprise there!) Chloe has fallen for this one made by Terri Effan.

I'm so jealous!!! She is darling! You did a great job on the face up. What did you use? I think she is darling. I'm sure she will inspire you to start making your BJD :)
Lori, thank you. She has me absolutely aching to sculpt my own BJD!!! (after my bear show...)I did her face up with the china paint powder and acrylics.
Tami your Chloe is simply beautiful!!! The BJD's have not appealed to me... but your Chloe certainly DOES!
